Priory Dental Care’s Chloe G needs your help!

Our fabulous dental nurse, Chloe G, will be heading to Cambodia in October 2024 as part of Dentaid’s Overseas Volunteering programme. Chloe will be part of a team of dentists, dental nurses, therapists and hygienists, who will be providing hundreds of patients with emergency dental care and oral health education, over a two week period.

Dentaid volunteers work with Cambodian-based charity ‘One2One’ and a number of Cambodian dentists to provide basic dental care in prisons, schools, remote communities and slum areas.

Volunteers are encouraged to fundraise £2,950 which pays for flights, accommodation, travel within Cambodia, meals on working days, and all the dental supplies needed to provide free care for thousands of people. On top of this, Chloe will also need to pay for a Visa and travel insurance. Any shortfall in the fundraising target will have to be funded by Chloe G herself.

Here at PDC we will be doing lots of fundraising over the next 12 months to help Chloe G raise as much money as possible! There have already been talks of a 5k Fun Run, an Army Obstacle Course, Bake Sales, Dressing Up, and an ‘in-practice’ Bikeathon… so watch this space for upcoming events!
