Thanks to your help in 2014 we raised a grand total of £906.32 (plus gift aid) for charity!
In January and March we sold our old, disused dental crowns and bridges for scrap metal, raising £112.00 which we split between three Norfolk charities; East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices in Quidenham, Norfolk, Downham Market & District Heritage Society and RSPCA Norwich & Mid-Norfolk. For further information about these local charities, please click on the following links; www.each.org.uk, www.downhamheritage.org.uk, www.rspcanorwich.org.uk.
In May, Jessica and Emma completed a gruelling 20 mile obstacle course, known as the ‘Rat Race Dirty Weekend’, raising £398.00 for Cancer Research UK. And throughout the year we raised £196.32 for Dentaid from patients kindly giving their loose change, or donating 20p for toothpaste samples, to the collection box in reception. We also regularly donate our used printer cartridges to Tommy’s, the baby charity. These cartridges are then recycled to raise money. For further information about how Tommy’s fund research to save babies lives, please click on the following link www.tommys.org
As ever, the Priory Dental Care team will continue with our fundraising efforts in 2015 and we will keep you updated with all forthcoming charity events.
