There’s an exciting new change at Priory Dental Care!

Having been the Practice Principal for the last 7 years, Dr Cheung has decided to take a step back so that he is able to spend more time with his family. After a long and careful search, Dr Cheung believes that he has found the right dentist to take over the practice.  We are, therefore,  pleased to announce that Dr Martin Hako has now become the new owner and Principal Dentist of Priory Dental Care.  Dr Cheung will be remaining at the practice as a part-time Associate Dentist, with a view to continuing with his Denplan contract.

Dr Hako qualified at the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University of Dentistry in Košice, Slovakia in 2005.  In 2015 he gained a degree of ‘Master of Science in Restorative Dental Practice’ from the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL, London, and he is currently completing an additional diploma in Implantology.

Dr Hako began his dental career working in a small town near Pilsen, Czech Republic. He moved to the UK in 2010 and has worked in dental practices in North Wales, Wiltshire, Peterborough and King’s Lynn, before taking over as Practice Principal of Priory Dental Care in 2018.

Dr Hako speaks fluent English, Slovakian and Czech, and basic Romanian, Polish, Russian and German.  In his spare time, Dr Hako enjoys camping, travelling and martial arts.

With the help of both Dr Cheung and existing support staff, Dr Hako will maintain the practice’s longstanding ethos and reputation for good quality, preventative dentistry, and he is very much looking forward to meeting you all at your next visit.
